David G.

David has been a passionate musician and educator for over 30 years. He started piano at six, moved to clarinet at nine, and found his lifelong instrument, the oboe, at ten. Along the way, he explored a variety of instruments, including bassoon, trumpet, and saxophone, and expanded his expertise to strings, brass, and percussion while earning a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Arizona.
David began his teaching career in 2010 in Tucson, Arizona, building a thriving orchestra program. In 2017, he and his wife Rebecca, also a music educator, moved to Colorado, where he now teaches band and orchestra at Elizabeth Middle School.

Jan B.

With 49 years of experience, I have dedicated my life to teaching and sharing the joy of music. I began playing piano at age six and violin at eight, later earning a position in the first section of the Kern Philharmonic Orchestra during my senior year of high school. Over the years, I have taught private and group lessons in piano, violin, beginning guitar, and ukulele, while also performing on standup bass and fiddle in local bands. Music is a lifelong source of joy and self-expression, and I am passionate about helping others discover and nurture their own musical journey.
